Types of Steel
Types of Steel
Steel is categorized into various types based on its composition, properties, and intended use in engineering and construction projects. The two primary types of steel we offer are Grade 60 re-bars and Grade 40 re-bars.
Grade 60 Steel
Grade 60 steel is characterized by its high tensile strength, excellent ductility, and superior resistance to deformation under heavy loads. These properties make it ideal for critical infrastructure projects such as high-rise buildings, bridges, and seismic-resistant structures. The steel’s ability to withstand extreme stress and maintain its structural integrity makes it a reliable choice for applications where strength and durability are paramount.

Grade 40 Steel
Grade 40 steel offers good tensile strength and moderate ductility, making it suitable for general-purpose applications. It is commonly used in construction projects where high strength is not a primary concern, such as residential buildings, roads, and sidewalks. This steel is ideal for applications that do not require heavy reinforcement but still demand reliable performance and durability.
